Is Orientation Week mandatory?
Participation at Orientation Week is voluntary and registration is not required, however, it is strongly recommended. This is an opportunity for first-year students to arrive on campus, participate in many exciting activities, meet new friends and become acquainted with the campus before the arrival of upper-year students.

Is there a fee for Orientation Week?
There is no fee to participate in any of the events organized by Student Life.

What should I bring to Orientation Week?
Many activities are planned for outdoors so be sure to wear comfortable clothing and bring sunscreen! Faculty t-shirts will be distributed when you arrive on September 5 to wear throughout the day.

Students who are intersted in participating in Playfair or Dodgeball are reminded to wear soft-soled shoes to help preserve the gym floor.

I am underage, can I still participate in the activities?
All Student Life activities are for students of all ages and alcohol-free.

EFFING HELL YES, BIATCH! Look at that…NO FEES FOR STUDENT CENTRE HOSTED EVENTS…so I just pay $5 for my ticket to concert!

Of course, I think my ancillary fees pay for SADC events.
