This post is actually a textfile, which i had typed while being away in Oshawa, and also when I did not have any unprotected wireless networks around me…which was disappointing. However, whenever i had done a search for wireless networks, 8/10 networks would be encrypted! Meaning: this place was a smart place.

One of the UNprotected networks i had found online though, was quite funny…as you can see here: CLICK ME TO SEE!!!

Yes, this network was unprotected, and was found a little North of the campus, as i was there. Sadly, I will be sitting out Dodgeball, since I don’t want another one of those accidents again.

So what have i done at Oshawa today, so far? After spending around 10-20mins trying to fin the entrance to the Athletic Complex, I FINALLY picked up my student ID. For those that have been following my MSN names, it’s been almost full weeks since I went and took my picture. What had happened was UOIT ran out of cards, and their supplier didnt send them anymore to print on yet! Lame, but it happens. For those at UOIT who haven’t picked up their ID yet, or havent even taken the picture and submitted info, go to room G213 in the Athletic Complex. It’s supposedly on the second floor, and in reality it is, but it’s on “ground level”. When you enter the Athletic complex (from the entrance with the reception, the big ramp place and the police training centre), go through to the Hall of Fame. You will now see why it is the second level (the gym is underneath). Now, keep walking and eventually you will see a dining area. When I first saw it, it didn’t look like a dining area either, but it is what they say it is. Righto, 79% battery left.

So after the ID getting, I proceeded to go to the Learning Commons, which is our big ass computer room, to change my acount password, as well as update my virus definitions and Windows…I’m not sure if either one really updated. I’ll just wait until I go to class, i guess.

Now, since I was here, I also decided to look at the lockers which I had wrote down on my “hitlist”. everything was found, except the other region which was blocked off due to the Athletic Complex’s expansion. That’s alright though, because I’ve already decided where I’d be. Hurray for A-wing, 2nd Floor! And now we’re driving again, so i don’t think I can really stomach moving and typing…like moving and reading (in moving vehicles). So, at 78% battery, I now take a break…at Conlin and Simcoe N.

3:40PM, 76% battery:
Interesting observation…we’re in Pickering right now, and we’re travelling 100kmph on a 70 street…the even better thing: both sides are doing this…

We’re slowing down a bit now, since we’ve got traffic lights and the sort, but yes, most people are still barreling at 100+. Oh silly Pickering…making traffic laws nobody will obey. 75% battery left, out.
