blogONEHio, yes another update so soon!
Today, I was supposed to get at least 8hrs of work done. Well, that didn’t happen at all – I decided it was better to wake up at 11am instead. When that happened, I didn’t really start doing some work until around 4pm!
What did i do in the meantime? Well, for starters, I finished installing some plugins and codecs for my dad’s computer. He’s using Ubuntu linux now, so rejoice, rejoice! Wait till he gets a new comp/laptop… :S I also installed FlyAKite on the laptop…so I am quite pleased with that; my D drive is also at 31GB now (of 44). Yes, things are just looking great! Oh, and for those wondering, my battery will not explode, as tested by IBM.
At 5:30 we began out hot-pot feast. Since the one with the silver liver was sick, we agreed that it was perhaps time that I try taking a full can of liquid bread on my own. Was i tipsy in the end? no. Flat out drunk? no. Nothing really happened…which is good. So tonight’s beer was Wells, from the UK. It remained nice and cold throughout the night (up until I needed to refill the mug and finish the rest of the can which was in the fridge)…which was quite refreshing. In terms of taste, it had a very clean taste! In the first sip, it felt clear, like water…and as it hit the back of my mouth, the slight bitterness came around. Aftertaste? Nothing like the others! which is weird… Also cool is the fact that my throat didn’t feel irritated like it was when we tried the other beers, which may mean that my body likes Wells.
So another down (this time solo), leaving the German beer with the long name left. Somehow I think that’s going to be guzzled with pizza…just a gut feeling (haha).
Remember, drink…but don’t get drunk.
Or else I will throw sharp things at you.
