Midterms
Midterms have come and gone…but are amongst us again. Today was information technology! We’ve got to hand it to the Prof…it was one of the gayest midterms ever! We had 60 minutes to finish 25 questions. 25 questions which required full sentence questions explaining 4 or more sections of one thing. Can you say Holy shit, that’s fun! Automat Kalishnikov!!!!!!??? Needless to say, I had my share of bs answers…and others just didn’t bother putting anything in at all. That’s all good, since we all think he might pull a major bullcurve! Boy, will we get served.
My midterms start on the 17th again, with calc at 7pm. Followed by physics on the 22nd, and algeo on the 24th. it only feels like less than two weeks ago that we finished our first midterms…oh wait, we did!
My results for the first midterms were very average. However, they were higher than what i usually got in grade 12, so I am somewhat pleased. My physics mark is still missing though…so I am anxious, to say the least. But when have I not been anxious?
Commencement
So now I am officially graduated from high school! My (somewhat) pretty piece of paper has been picked up tonight! What’s missing is my Ontario Scholar’s Award…yes, it is missing. Will it be found? Probably not. Will West Hill REALLY get me a replacement? In due time.
Commencement this year was a bit more streamlined than the previous years. I attended 4 years worth of them…I think I would know whether it was streamlined or not, kids (benefits of music program). Instead of having the graduates get in order, enter the aud, sit down, get up, go up, sit down…we had the graduates start up, go forward, get down, sit down. I think one reason why is so there’d be less disruption, unless of course, the disruptors are really early. And, nonetheless, Moore did his best having us all laugh.
I definitely took my opportunity to whore it up with a select number of friends. Il y a des photographes.
Beer of the Week
Tonight’s beer of the week was BUDWEISER, the “King of Beers”. And I must agree…I think that title is somewhat correct! For a domestic beer (Canadian-brewed American brand), it’s taste is somewhat better than the imports I’ve had. For me, Budweiser tasted like Chinese tea. More specifically, I think the Oolong tea we have. It’s quite interesting! The level of bitterness was almost non-existent, but not nasty like Kozel, and it’s aftertaste was pleasing (it tasted like tea for me, remember?).
Random:
Now, after Aaron Tait and I made the ROFL video (HQ version available here), we decided to have 3+ more episodes come out. I am already done the scripting, and we were supposed to have filmed them yesterday. However, since we were all hoping not to get owned by the midterm today, we postponed that to next week.
We have also joined the Insomnia contest hosted by the folks at Apple (ohemgee they are friggin lovable). So in the next few weeks to come, be sure to be informed of where you can watch the next 3 episodes of our little skits, as well as our Insomnia submission! Also, please vote for us! PLEASE!
Until next Friday, or beer, remember to drink responsibly and never get drunk. And if you do get drunk, don’t tell me cause I’ll never talk to you again. Much heartage.
