Day 10 of Bell’s Palsy

Yesterday was the day when I’d finally fix my optical drive woes. I’d go and buy a new drive, install it and happily be on my way. I had gone to Canada Computers to pick up a GSA-H22N, and after doing research AFTERWARDS,found it to be one of the best drives yet.

Sadly, this was not the case with the computers in the house. On my computer, which is running WinXP SP2, the system reboots before the disc is readable. Only AFTER the system reboots can the disc be read! That’s pretty useless. On my dad’s Ubuntu machine, the drive completely locked up! I’m heading out in a few hours to go get it exchanged; man, what a disappointment.

Not much updates to the face…though muscles are still sore from something.

It appears a lot of people are “love-struck” over this Christmas holiday. Cute. I’m not one to judge :P
