Both my ear canals are cut due to earbuds (or rather, the not-so-friendly foam of them)…GG.
Continuing from Tuesday’s post which I had no will to finish while typing in chemistry…to recap:
I think I’ll be changing the title of these posts to “After Effects†or “Aftermath†now…since my BP is basically gone, except for a few wrinkles that still need to be ironed out. Sometimes, just sometimes, some of the facial muscles freeze up.
Thinking harder now, I am remembering the topics that I need to rant about…in more detail, LATER.
1. People running after buses to catch them
2. Something that was of high concern to me…
3. Another thing…
People Running After Buses:
I have had my fair share of running to/for buses while riding the TTC. I can’t really remember which days were better…the high school days where I had to have all my books, or the Now, having a minimum of 10lbs on my back no matter what. When I get my nice seat on the C101 bus, we usually idle for 5-10mins while waiting for more humans to come. After those 10mins, we set sail for our daily tour of Pickering, Ajax, Whitby and Oshawa. However, there are a few late passengers that begin to run for the C101 bus while it is driving around the bus loop. They get really close, and then they just stop. THEY JUST STOP, WHEN THE BUS STOPS. Sometimes, they even begin to walk back into the station while looking at the bus.
A couple/few weeks ago when I had to go to the TRL, I had to run after two buses, AT THE SAME TIME. I gave out a valiant run, but the damned express bus driver decided to ignore my flagging AND my running, and promptly left after letting nobody out. I didn’t give up though, I never gave up!
Please…if you’re going to run for the bus, give it all you’ve got, or don’t even try. Don’t run halfway then completely stop when the bus decides to wait for you. Don’t take your sweet ass time getting to and onto the bus when the driver DECIDES to TAKE PITY ON YOUR LATE SORRY ASS.

Military Vehicles on Civilian Streets:
I think back in December or so, when the grass was still green, my dad and I were waiting at the Pickering GO station when a train freighting military vehicles rolled by (on the tracks, for those of you who are always so difficult). On it were machine gun equipped APC’s, 4×4′s, cranes, generators.
Now, fast forward a few more months, to the time when we had a real first snowfall, basically. It was a sad excuse of a “winter storm”, if I remember right. Or maybe that was another day. Regardless, as I was on my way home on that Friday (I remember it was a Friday because the sky was black already, and we all know what time I end on Fridays), I noticed an envoy of the same military 4×4′s moving from Rossland onto Simcoe. Now, being a bus, we interrupted their little envoy (that, and because they were making a left hand turn from Taunton onto a very busy Simcoe). Eventually, 3 4x4s buzzed by us, and you could see some of the radio equipment and “hidden” defenses a little better.
So the question was…what were they doing on civilian streets? Take note: they were continuing to head down Simcoe, past Rossland…so I can only assume they were heading to the Oshawa GO station to hook up with the Mother Train.

The First Calculus 2 Midterm:
I was quite in the zone! Worked incredibly hard and was very focussed during the midterm. As a result, I required all of my time. When I was on the last question, as I was madly writing, my TA announced we had 10mins remaining. I had one more question to fix up, and with my last remaining minute, I “completed” it. Just because it’s finished doesn’t mean its correct!
One word can describe the calculus midterm tonight: intense.
Ok, maybe challenging and mind-stretching also apply…
