It's not really up to us to "make" them believe. we're just the farmers. Farmers plant the seeds into the soil and they wait for it to grow; no amount of magical potions or magic beans will sprout fruits, vegetables, etc. Likewise for us, as the farmers of the Gospel...we can't really force the production of what we've sown (i.e. the people start believing in God/JC). The farmers just let the stuff grow; we say what we need to say, planting that seed in their heart, and it's up to the Big Holy Almighty Cheese (God!). But of course, persevere, don't give up when it seems like you're not getting through. At the very least, you have been faithful to that commandment to go preach to the world...all that other stuff is ultimately between that person/s and God.
