The HK Report 11: White Like Cotton

Whoever thought that clouds best resembled cotton is somewhat…stupid. Unless cotton is actually grey in it’s unrefined form, freshly picked from Mr. White’s field. (View MVI_2919 or 2924)

So yesterday, we went to The Peak. I’ve been there 6 years ago, but not for a night view of the city. Sadly, as you’ll see from the videos, there was nothing to see other than grey, grey skies. “Part 6: Double Fish Fillet to The Peak” is now fully uploaded, and features some nice night shots of the harbour while on the ferry and the Avenue of Stars, which is pretty much the Chinese version of our Star Walk of Fame. While at the Peak, the Peak Tower and the Peak Galleria, there were many things to see. For starters, I know know that there are at least TWO exclusive company stores: Microsoft XBox 360 (@ Grand Century Plaza) and EA Experience (@ The Peak Tower) [check the album for more]. Also at the Peak, I found a Christian bookstore called Elim. There, I bought United’s All of the Above and The Vine’s live worship CD that I read about on their page - sadly, I don’t think I’ll get to experience HK’s ministry at all.

After having all this fun at the Peak, we set sail for the other side on the ferry, and you can see all the bootyful pictures in the album :P The night would’ve been really good, except we went to a very mediocre restaurant; there wasn’t any rice available, and the spaghetti wasn’t fully cooked. The service wasn’t all that good either, it’s as if all the servers were noobs and the restaurant just opened. With that said…my mom didn’t even bother to tip them.
