blogONESo a question that has always been on my mind is how to get some funding to (hopefully) pay off the site. I’ve truly considered Pay Per Post before, as well as Google Ads…but I’ve always felt hesitant to try other.
For starters, PPP is really quite stupid at times, and I know a few people who have been using PPP. They really get the ntire page down…as if there isn’t a theme to their blog anymore, except to write reviews that suck up to the contracting company. It’s even worse when the blog, which used to be a bit vibrant, becomes very mundane and boring because all personal opinion is now towards products, rather than on recent events or interests. In other words, I feel that they’ve sold out.
Google Ads, on the other hand, could be a viable way to get some funds…but we are now faced with problems such as AdBlockPlus, which I myself am also using. As my friend stated, “ads pay for the Internet”. But ads are pretty darn annoying a lot of times, especially since Flash ads come at horrible timing a lot of times.
So yeah, any ideas on how to get some funds? Of course, this is all thinking…we really don’t need ads to keep running
