Who are you sharing hosting with?

I was reading Download Squad’s post on myIPneighbors.com, which does a reverse IP domain check to determine how many sites are hosted on the same IP as a certain site.

I did a check on addonelam.net and there appears to be 192 other sites on the same IP as me — most of them look like spam/ad/sex sites (on a first glance basis)!

However, amongst some of them…I’ve found a few interesting ones quite a few personal “selling myself” sites (quite like this one), like Andrew J Klein’s portfolio, some developer sites like Crucible Software, and…a lot of monkey-based pages. The Internet must have some sort of fetish for monkeys. OK, the Internet has a fetish on just about anything.

But yes, go check out who else is hosted on your domain!

    I have 641 other sites on my IP address! There must be at least one that is “adult oriented”.
