This morning post actually has no relation to snow leopards, but they are damn cool. Happy Chinese New Year by the way.
The snow was expected to stop at 3am, but by 6am the snow was still falling — I dreaded coming to school to write my midterm at 11am. And so I ate and studied some more…and then came the snow shoveling. This was quite the half-assed, as requested by the dad…since he only wanted enough shoveled for the tires to go through (EPIC WIN!).
Now, we started the English (Gregorian??) New Year with my dad PK‘ing and rolling around in a parking lot…so what kind of Chinese New year would it be without some sort of automobile-related accident!? In our case, it was a mild rear-ending by a minivan.
Here’s a word of advice for all you humans reading this:
IF YOU ARE SKIDDING AND CANNOT AVOID HITTING US, HAVE THE COURTESY TO HONK AT US SO WE MIGHT GET OUT OF WAY.
If you hit someone, no matter how big or small the damage is…
DON’T COMPLAIN/WONDER WHY WE’RE WRITING DOWN YOUR LICENSE PLATE NUMBER WHEN YOU ARE THE ONE WHO HIT US
Anyway…by the time I got to the bus station, there were already >= 30 people waiting in line, including Differential Equations professor, Dhavide Aruliah, and chemistry for engineers’ TA, Omer. But really…there were more people than I thought (or buses are smaller than I counted) because the bus was already full and people were standing upon our boarding. It was a packed, packed bus…
And my midterm is canceled, as of 9:13am.
**UPDATE: The car is fine, no damage!
