Usually being the pessimist in the family, my mom brought a positive thought into why I am so bored and “lonely” in life.
Maybe God is just preparing you for later in life, when He sends you somewhere very lonely…where you’ll be bored to death with nobody to talk to.
Despite how absurd this actually sounds, it is also quite bright and optimistic depending on how one thinks about it. It is quite similar to thinking there is a greater purpose for your suffering, rather than on your suffering itself — and I am no stranger to this type of thinking, since its kept me afloat so many times in my life.

I know how it is to be like.. right on the border of where your friends can get to. I lived in a huge town called Spring for grades 4-8, and then moved to a smaller town about 15 minutes away called Klein, where I went to a different school. My friends would call and ask me to hang out, but I couldn’t because it was too far to walk, bike, there’s no public transportation, etc.. so I eventually found friends that lived around my area, but it took a while. Even then, walking to my house from theirs took like an hour. Don’t worry Adwin, you’ll find new friends.
If you’re feeling really crummy about having to move/your social situation, perhaps it’ll ease your mind to know that I think things might change once you get your license. I mean, then you’ve got the freedom to go wherever you like and thus, accept more invitations. I think a lot of people are just intimidated by your sheer, raw, sexual energy to ask you out. That, or they are people like me who don’t go out that often either.
“darker than an emo’s abyss of a heart” ?
bored to death but still with a computer to talk to? hahaha
hm about the other thing…part of me wants to say, “let’s fix it” but the truth is, I’m leaving soon. I know a bit ’bout what you’re talking about cause I’ve been I guess, “hurt by association”? I see some good but it has a long way to go still.
oh yah, do you guys have a fellowship at UOIT? One you attend or one you started? A friend, Jon Tsui if you know him, is thinking of going to UOIT next year and starting a CCF if there isn’t one already.
