Spoiled

Whenever I read articles about the UAW/CAW union strikes (or impending strikes) from auto-blogs such as (the wonderful) TTAC, or hear on the news about it, I really just want to ask them WHISKEY TANGO FOXTROT they are complaining about.

You spoilt brats, shut the hell up about your lack of benefits, wages, hours and working conditions — you seem to forget that those who assemble cars for the Japanese/Chinese imports have it much worse than you!

But of course, this is just a by-product of our sick, selfish, self-oriented/individualistic North American culture and mindset. We would rather complain about not getting a better health benefit package instead of thinking of those who get much less pay and even LESS benefits/care. Weren’t unions first formed to PROTECT the workers? I get the feeling now that unions are just big, abusing bullies.
