A Film By Chris Forbes: Ask A UOIT Prof

My friend Chris Forbes made a video (with the help of Aaron Tait) of brief interviews with several famous UOIT professors regarding their favourite words/phrases. I must say, Paula DiCato definitely has one of the sexiest “Calculus…” sighs ever. EVER.

    Hey there,

    I’m going to UOIT next year and I really wanted to get to learn more about this school. But not just from asking regular students or from regular research.

    Would it be cool with you guys if I can view the video? I want in-depth understanding of the profs. Thanks.

    Tony: The video Chris made is actually a parody and takes into consideration the funny aspects we have encountered. However, some of the profs found the video, weren’t necessarily pleased, and spoke with Chris.

    What program are you going into? I might be able to find some insider resources for you. Last, but not least, if you’re still interested in watching the parody I can ask Chris Forbes for the pw (I forgot he actually put a pw).

    Depending on your program, you’re bound to have classes which allow a low student-to-professor ratio, which should allow you to approach them when needed. The smaller campus size also helps.  From experience, all my profs were quite willing to help answer Q’s and go out of their way, regardless of class size. Of course, some profs are more helpful, relational and funny than others…

    im want to go into mechanical engineering. my friend in first year right now has paula dicato for semester 1 calc. he said shes really good at teaching. just wanted to know how she looked like xD!
