blogONEToday after my tutorial, we went to Motor City Saturn in Whitby to get another test-drive of the Aura, as well as try finding a dealer which may switch the Hankook tires to Goodyear’s as a perk. Now, as I’ve stated in my previous Saturn/American car post, one of the biggest small concerns with American cars is the manual-open gas-tank cover and gas-cap (amongst other major concerns).
However, a new idea/thought had finally dawned in my dad’s mind regarding this issue. The concept of key-locked gas-caps are relatively cheap, and can easily be implemented. Instant redemption for the Aura!!! But perhaps each Aura IS different in terms of build, as in…each one will have different quirks, ranging from burning/melting plastic interiors to doors-that-can’t-close to incredibly-loud-tires.
A really BIG revelation presented to us though, was the KEY-LOCKED GAS-TANK COVER on the Astra (the key unlocks the cover). And this makes us think…“What the hell?” I reckon there needs to be some more rethinking on the whole rethinking process, Saturn…but rest assured, you’ve got my attention again you sexy red-ringed beast.
