blogONEblogONE – The Ramblings of one Adwin Lam is exactly as the title suggests: ramblings of Adwin Lam, coherent or otherwise. Adwin is currently completing his degree in electrical engineering and business management at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology. He has chosen to take a long scenic route in post-secondary education and spend around 6 years in Oshawa, which he will either regret or find worthwhile in the future to come.
He is currently writing in the third person, as you can currently see, because he can be overly random and disassociated with himself at times. This does not hint that he has any form of disassociative identity disorder, although he developed Bell’s Palsy through a very stressful period in his first year of university studies.
Adwin tends to think profoundly at times, and despite being an engineer-in-training, is still quite artistic. Being a semi-Reformed Christian, he currently plays electric guitar and sometimes sings in the worship team Sycamore, which was the 2006 worship team for the senior conference of Teens Conference. Adwin does not feel comfortable with an idle mind, and constantly questions life, himself, God and various other topics, and often demonstrates this through the music he writes and records — he hopes to eventually release a home-produced CD for friends and family. Adwin also tests his drawing abilities at times, but hasn’t produced anything lately which doesn’t induce violent vomiting, so he resorts to drawing crude webcomics. Such comics currently consist of AddOne2Win, which tries to be a weekly chronicle of the journey of Adwin and his friends at UOIT, and can be found in the Comics category, along with future work.
