Highlights of the Supposed DOOMSDAY YEAR (2012)

2012 was supposed to be the end of the world, wasn’t it? Well, that was utter poppycock from the get go, given we know that nobody knows the time or day of when the Lord will return. Actually, I should read up on the comments and responses made by people regarding the End of the World 2012 not really being the end of the world. Hrmm.

Anyway, here’s an excellent and mundane YEAR IN REVIEW post for 2012, the year the world was supposedly ending… Of course, there were plenty of things which happened during this year, but these just really, really, stood out. Oh, and I finished 3 books or something like that (hurr, I’m not a total idiot, yays!)

Thanks to those who helped make it such a wonderful year, and for the moments which aren’t listed please know that they’re still dear to my heart 🙂

Looking back at last year’s post, I’ve completed 3 of the 7 anticipated highlights…which could be viewed and rated as disappointing. But is it really??

Here are some of my anticipated highlights of 2013:

  • full-time employment
  • moving again (or even moving out)
  • bidding farewell to Helena (and subsequently welcoming/saying bonjour to…?)
  • finishing some backlogged musical projects (hahaha, isn’t this every year???)
  • learning more about something called a relationship
  • going to Snakes and Lattes

What kind of awesome special moments did you have in 2012? What kind of awesome special moments do you anticipate in 2013?

Highlights of 2011

So, another year is coming to an end. What’s funny is that I only started writing this post in July, when half of the year was already over. Why is that? Well, you can blame final year and capstone! This year was pretty poor in terms of record keeping…whoops!

What were some of the highlights?

EUROTRIP 2011

In a blitzkrieg movement, I jumped at the opportunity to do a round of Western Europe. It had its ups and downs, and definitely gave me a chance to see and experience something different from North America and/or Hong Kong. Below, you’ll find a day by day recap, and possibly some links to pics and vids (as they are uploaded).
