My Mother As A Gamer
Adwin: “So what kind of games do you like Ma? I know you like puzzles…so that’s a given.”
Mom: *translated* “I hate fighting/shooting games.”
A: “Yeah, I remember. Good thing there are a few good puzzle games, I tihnk.”
M: “As long as the game isn’t too simple, or dumb.”
A: “Hrmm. How about sports?”
M: “What kind of sports?”
A: “Hockey?”
M: “Uh…no.”
A: “Basketball?”
M: “Nahh”
A: “Soccer?”
M: “Ugh.”
A: “Well, that’s all the sports. Guess no sports then. How about racing games?”
M: “Oh geez…”
A: “No eh? Well, there’s one game I know we’ll be playing for sure.”
M: “Oh yeah? What is that?”
A: “Music game.”
M: “Oh, the one you play at Shawn’s place?”
A: “Yeah, I’m gonna get GHWT though, the drum set looks like it’ll play better.”
M: “Hrmm…” *hesitant*
A: “There are 4 instruments, including vocals, so we can all play at the same time.”
M: “geez, you know your dad is going to hog the mic.”

Dad: “After we move, nothing much is going to change. I’m gonna be busy getting random stuff done, so its not like I’m gonna be idle.”
M: “In reality, he’s just going to walk around the house in his underwear…”
A: “…and play Guitar Hero.”
M: “Exactly. You’ve ruined him already… D: “
