Winter 2010 Achievements

Since marks have been distributed for quite some time now, here are those beloved awards/achievements/memories I usually note/give out… I must say, I really enjoyed having a year of mainly business courses. The business profs were a great refresher for my university career. Of course, it was quite cunning and sly to discover that a few other engineering students in 4th year used this tactic:

  1. Apply for internships while completing capstone project
  2. If internship gained, switch to the management program to validate requirements
  3. If no internship, remain in regular engineering program and graduate

Good on them, I guess. They’ll actually return from internship and have “complete bird courses”. Hopefully they don’t fail them. Alternately…they could try switching back to regular engineering, and they would have attempted scamming both the university and employers?
