[COVER] You’re All That I Have

This is a cover of Snow Patrol’s You’re All That I Have, done in acoustic mode. I actually think I recorded this before, but never uploaded it…but here is a new updated version anyway! The music video was quite entertaining to watch, which you can find on YouTube. Lyrics and chords found at Ultimate-Guitar

When I think about it, some of Snow Patrol’s songs would be suitable for LOAH, such as this one!

[ORIGINAL] Feeble Man

This is another original song, which I think will also be redone in the near future with prospectives. Written and recorded over a 2 week period (since midterms were flying around like bullets on a war-field), this song was written during another one of those questioning periods of myself. Of course, we all know that human strength can only go so far, and that we’ll eventually need to rely on Something Greater. It talks about how we try to succeed and accomplish everything with our strength and even try to take the highest position of all, and how we will fall without the backend support we need.

Lyrics:
There comes a time in every man’s life // when he is justified to cry,
like when he’s being cheated on by his wife,
or when his only son dies.

But just when you think that you’ve lost it all,
a burden in your heart resides;
the burden of the Great Divide.

Feeble man, what’cha doing // thinking you can run on your own? fighting your war alone?
You try to stand at the tip of the mountain,
but its too high and you fall down.
It’s all gone, what’cha do now?

There comes a time in every man’s life // when he must finally decide,
to live life purified,
or stay unclean and just die.

But just when you think that you’ll lose it all,
a Savior in your heart resides;
the Savior of all our lost lives…

Feeble man, what’cha doing // thinking you can run on your own? fighting your war alone?
You try to stand at the tip of the mountain,
but its too high and you fall down.
It’s all gone, what’cha do now?

I’m the feeble man…

Eloihim, what am I doing? thinking I can run on my own, fighting this war alone?
I tried to stand at the tip of the mountain,
but it was too high and I fell down.
I’m not gone; I’m with You now.

[COVER] Rock the Sexyback (April 26, 2007)

I’ve recorded an improved, SCREAMO-LESS version of “Rock the Sexyback”, which is a cover of Justin Timberlake’s smash hit (*cue laughter). The original version of “Rock the Sexyback”, which sounded like crap was recorded in November 2006, right after Will and I made jokes about it in calc1.

I will also be making a version with drums…so stay tuned for that.
